Heartless thieves make off with jewellery and Christmas presents

Wiltshire Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in Queens Road, Hannington.

The incident happened between 6.15am and 8pm on 15 December. 

Christmas presents, jewellery, watches, whisky bottles and personal documents were stolen from the address.

PC Ben Parsons said: “Incidents like this are extremely upsetting for victims and some of the items stolen were of sentimental value. We are really keen to locate them and return them to the victim.

“Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing and as part of our investigation, we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident.”

Some of the items stolen are listed below:

  • Silver chain necklace with amber pendant
  • Silver chain necklace with turquoise pendant and matching earrings
  • Set of amber earrings
  • Silver ring with turquoise stone
  • Gold chain bracelet with multi-coloured stones
  • Two men’s watches with leather straps
