A prolific shoplifter from Swindon has been sentenced to 44 weeks imprisonment for six separate thefts.
Christopher Anthony Desantos, 30 from Lilac Court, Pinehurst pleaded guilty to thefts from Co-op in Beechcroft Road and Cricklade Road, Superdrug, Wilkos, Debenhams and Footasylum.
Between 9 January and 4 February 2019 Desantos stole over £500 worth of items including an electric toothbrush, male grooming kits, Nike trousers, six air fresheners, meat and aftershave.
Desantos was captured on CCTV and identified or caught in the act by witnesses.

PC Jon Kilburn said: "We'd like to thank the stores and witnesses who helped identify Desantos and enable us to put him before the courts.
"We are pleased he received a custodial sentence."
