Drunk driver charged in connection with ram raid at Marlborough store

A man has been charged in connection with a burglary at a shop in Marlborough over the weekend.

Billy Scott Trotman, 36, of no fixed address, has been charged with burglary, dangerous driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, driving while over the legal alcohol limit and driving without insurance.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court this morning (5/3/19).

The charges relate to an incident at Screwfix in Blenheim Road on Sunday evening (3/3/19).
