Free treats, crafts and entertainment will be held across all Metro Bank stores on Sunday 7 April, including Swindon's branch.

This Sunday, from 11am to 5pm, Swindon's Metro Bank will be holding free family-friendly, egg-citing craft events and everyone is invited to join in the Spring celebrations.

Ian Walters, Managing Director at Metro Bank, said: “It's really important to us that our stores act as a hub for the local community, whether that be hosting business networking events, delivering our free financial education programme for schools and youth groups, or simply putting on a fun family-filled day; we’re proud to play our part.”

Children will be able to decorate their own Easter accessory, and have the chance to meet Metro Man, the bank’s mascot, who will be decked out in his eggstra-special outfit, complete with bunny ears, ready to have his picture taken.

Metro Bank prides itself on helping the local communities it serves and last year supported over 2,000 community and in-store events, such as local fairs, charity events, business networking sessions and the bank’s free financial education programme, Money Zones.
