Police appeal for information about sneak-in burglars who targeted home while owner was in garden

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Fenton Avenue, North Swindon. 

The incident happened at approximately 1pm on April 6. 

The victim, a 35-year-old man, was in the garden at the time of the incident. 

It is believed two men entered the address and stole a quantity of cash before leaving the scene in an unknown direction.

Det Con Stephanie England said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen two men in the area of Fenton Avenue acting suspiciously at around lunch-time on Saturday. 

“I’d like to reassure the public that we are carrying out a thorough investigation in relation to this incident and would urge anyone who may have information which could help, to contact us on 101 and quote crime reference number 54190033540.”
