Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Fenton Avenue, North Swindon. The incident happened at approximately 1pm on April 6. The victim, a 35-year-old man, was in the garden at the time of the incident. It is believed two men entered the address and stole a quantity of cash before leaving the scene in an unknown direction. Det Con Stephanie England said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen two men in the area of Fenton Avenue acting suspiciously at around lunch-time on Saturday. “I’d like to reassure the public that we are carrying out a thorough investigation in relation to this incident and would urge anyone who may have information which could help, to contact us on 101 and quote crime reference number 54190033540.” Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. |
