At about 4.30pm on 10 March 2019, a man entered the Co-op, Clive Parade, Cricklade Road and placed several bottles of Ariel and Bold liquid detergent into a Morrisons bag.

He then ran out of the store without making any attempt to pay. A member of staff attempted to stop the suspect and he assaulted her.  Fortunately the 34-year-old victim did not sustain any serious injury.

A CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the incident is attached.
