The Festival on the Farm features three days of great music on a rural organic Wiltshire Farm.

Returning from 2 August to 4 August the farm is located next to Purton House Organics - the farm's much-loved organic farm shop - and is a great place for the family to spend the weekend. As well as great music there will be fun rides for kids, face painting, henna tattoos and all the other festival paraphernalia. Camping is available for the duration of the festival.

This year the line up includes Get Carter, Rave Against the Regime, The Wurzels, Superseed, Arkansaw Jukebox Collective, The Dirty Smooth, The Berries, Pink Mac, Buzwell Rules, Ska Bucks and The Berries.

The festival is Swindon’s only small, funky, cool festival on an organic farm. Festival on the Farm organiser, Rowie Meers, said: “It’s small ‘cos we like it that way, but that’s not to say we don’t have amazing bands, great food and great beer!”

Another organiser, Andy Pett, added: "It's a great festival, the bands are brilliant and it's a really safe environment for the kids to run around and play while watching the music or having a drink in the bar tent."

This year the festival wants to implement more eco-friendly alternatives and will be introducing re-useable beer glasses as well as ensuring that food vans use recyclable packaging. Rowie added: "We can't use glass on the field because of the animals so we've used plastic tumblers in the past.

"Now we have sourced a cool pint-sized reusable cup which will be available to buy and makes a great souvenir too!"
