Police appeal for witnesses after man in his 60s hit by car

Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following a collision involving a car and pedestrian in Swindon.

The incident happened at approximately 2.50am on Thursday July 4 in Commercial Road. 

The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was struck by a black Nissan Micra and sustained an injury to his hand and significant bruising to the right side of his body. He was seen to by paramedics.

The driver remained at scene to exchange details.

It is believed that the vehicle also nearly struck a second pedestrian and officers would like to hear from this person as part of their investigation into the incident. 

Anyone who has information is asked to call 101 and ask to speak to PC Alexandra Way of the Roads Policing Unit.
