There are still tickets available for tomorrow’s performance of Alice in Wonderland, performed by the exciting and innovative Immersion Theatre.
Families can once again experience open-air theatre in the beautiful surroundings of Lydiard Park this Friday, 2nd August.
Theatre goers can follow Alice and the White Rabbit as they set off on a colourful, topsy-turvy adventure before meeting a host of outlandish characters including the troublesome twins, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the notorious Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire cat and of course, the Mad-as a bat-Hatter!
The performance includes live music and lots of audience interaction, ensuring it provides the perfect evening out for the entire family.
The gates for the performance open at 4.30pm, and the performance starts at 5.30pm, lasting approximately 100 minutes with a 20-minute interval.
Councillor Russell Holland, Deputy Leader of Swindon Borough Council, said: “Lydiard Park has been hosting open-air theatre performances for many years and they have become a highlight of the summer holidays.
“Alice in Wonderland is a popular show that all the family can enjoy, and this promises to be a fun evening in an atmospheric setting.”
There are still some tickets available and they are on sale via the website www.lydiardpark.org.uk or by calling 01793 465270.
