Pete Gow, former frontman and songwriter of leading UK Americana band Case Hardin returns to Swindon on 28th September as part of a special tour of unique venues to promote his critically acclaimed new solo record “Here There’s no Sirens”.

Gow will be presenting songs from this album, plus some brand new tracks within the beautiful environs of Christ Church in Old Town and will present a one-off opportunity to hear not just him and his live band, but also a five-piece string section, ensuring the songs are fully brought to life within the amazing acoustics of this very special venue.

Gow has assembled a backing band of UK Americana All-Stars specially for these shows, featuring Joe Bennett (Piano/Organ/Trumpet/Harmonies), Fin Kenny (Drums/Percussion/Harmonies) and Tristan Tipping (Bass) who between them have played with a who's who of contemporary Americana acts including Danny & The Champions of the World, The Dreaming Spires, Bennett Wilson Poole, The Raving Beauties, Co Pilgrim, Society, Paul McClure and the Local Heroes, Luke Tuchscherer, Austin Lucas and many more....

Supporting Gow will be local songwriter Tamsin Quin, performing a rare show in trio format. Her blend of folk, pop and country is as infectious as it is fun, a wonderful balance of cheek and charm, of dulcet ballads and energetic acoustica.

There will be a fully licenced bar on the night courtesy Old Town craft beer specialist The Tuppenny, who will be providing a range of beers, ciders and wines.

Tickets for the concert are priced at £12 in advance and are available from Christ Church Community Centre, The Tuppenny (Devizes Road, Old Town) or online via seetickets.com
