Next month Eastcott Community Centre is opening its doors for a special event to raise money for Eastcott's Window Wanderland 2020.

On November 1 the public are invited to Eastcott Community Centre, 7.30, for 'Something Wicked'.

The event will be hosting guest speakers to explore the ‘darker side of the British landscape’. One talk will be led by Fred Gillam, author of Poisonous Plants, who will be talking all about his book and discussing particular plants hidden amongst the meadows and woods of Great Britain.

Accompanying the speakers will also be music from The Bellflowers, who will be exploring similar themes through timeless folk music.

Caroline Davis-Khan, chair of Eastcott Community Organisation said, “We are thrilled to have such a wonderfully unusual event at our centre.  We’ve had Fred come and speak at EcoFest 2018 and he was absolutely captivating.

"The Bellflowers are an amazingly talented duo who create some fantastic pieces, which take you to another time and place.  This is the perfect fundraising event for this time of year and we hope you can join us”.

Tickets cost £8 if you buy in advance and £10 on the door.  A complimentary drink is included in the price.
