The Wyvern Theatre and Greenbridge roundabout were glowing red this month as they joined the #GoRed movement in aid of raising Dyslexia awareness globally.

Go Red is an international movement running throughout October, supported by global dyslexia associations to raise awareness around dyslexia.

Go Red hopes to expand dyslexia awareness globally this year by turning landmarks, buildings, and even people red, all over the world.

In Swindon the Wyvern Theatre and Greenbridge roundabout painted the town red in support of the campaign.

A spokesperson for the campaign said: "Go Red is lead and supported by Scanning Pens, an assistive technology organisation for struggling readers.

"They strive to empower dyslexic people to the get support and help that they need to study, work, and live independently. The hope is that we can break down those barriers that dyslexics face day-to-day, levelling the playing field to give people with dyslexia equal opportunities.

"The best thing you can do to help us is share the news.

"Host a ‘Go Red’ event at your workplace in October, request a local building to Go Red, change a company logo Red and post about it using #GoRed. Whatever you can do to help get the word out can change the life of a struggling reader."
