Fans of Disney’s Frozen will be thrilled to hear that two very famous princesses will be visiting Swindon Town Centre just before Christmas!

Princesses Anna & Elsa will be wandering around the Brunel Shopping Centre where they will meet fans, pose for selfies and mingle and sing with the Christmas shoppers.  They will first appear at 11am on the staged area between Boots and Marks &Spencer on the ground floor before setting off on their tour around the centre.  At 2.30pm the princesses will be hosting a sing-along so will return to the stage in the area near to Boots.

Lewis Fagence from The Brunel centre said:  “The long-awaited Frozen 2 movie is now out so we are really pleased to be able to welcome Anna & Elsa to The Brunel at this magical time of the year.  We know there are lots of young Frozen fans who will be very eager and excited to meet them!”  Lewis added: “Christmas is going well at the Centre.

Our Breakfasts with Santa have been very popular and Santa’s grotto is as busy as ever.  Santa will be with us until Christmas Eve afternoon - so if you’ve not placed your order yet there’s still time!  And for those who have just hate doing the wrapping we can help with that too.

Prospect Hospice’s Gift Wrap stall is in full-swing and Prospect’s volunteers will be only too pleased to wrap your presents for you in return for a donation to the Hospice.

This event has raised over £20,000 since it started so it really is a win win!”

Santa’s grotto is on the first floor of The Brunel Plaza between Marks & Spencer and Boots.

There’s no charge to see him and every child receives an aged appropriate free gift.

(For exact opening times see www.thebrunel.co.uk .  Pre-book your visit, www.bookfatherchristmas.co.uk/brunel)

The gift-wrapping station is situated outside Timpsons (Havelock Square entrance in The Brunel Plaza.)  A minimum donation of £2.50 per gift is requested. Full details of the opening times are available on The Brunel’s website, www.thebrunel.co.uk

Many of the shops in The Brunel Shopping Centre stay open until 7pm.  Check individual opening times with each store.  And don’t forget parking is free on Sundays in the town centre so why not shop local in the lead up to this Christmas
