Two popular improv theatre comedy nights are set to make a regular appearance at Swindon’s Shoebox Theatre. Hosted by Imogen Palmer of The Delight Collective and The Bristol Improv Theatre, they both promise a night of spontaneous silliness, laughter and high-octane entertainment.

First up, is ‘Improv Jam’, which launches on the last Friday of January and gives local Actors the opportunity to show off their improv skills. All abilities and experience levels are welcome at this friendly and inclusive night, which doubles up as a chance to meet Swindon’s growing improv community. For those who just want to watch and enjoy a drink, doors will open for the bar at 7pm!

“We have been running improv classes at the Shoebox for over 5 years and there is a growing number of improv groups in Swindon, who are doing some really great stuff. This regular improv night, straight from the Bristol Improv Theatre, will give them a platform to regularly perform and offer comedy fans a fun and social night of entertainment.” said Hannah Marquez, Producer at the Shoebox.

The second show is ‘The Bish Bosh Bash’, which will be making its Swindon debut in February, comes with 5-star reviews. Described as a hilarious mash-up of ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’ and ‘Shooting Stars’, it sees Team Bish and Team Bosh go head-to-head in a bid to win the audience’s love. Who will come out on top? You decide!

Tickets range from £7-£10 and both shows can be booked at www.shoeboxtheatre.org.uk/whatson
