English poet, comedian and presenter, Pam Ayres MBE, is hosting an evening performance of some of her greatest work – with all proceeds to Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s charity, Brighter Futures.

On National Poetry Day, October 1 2020, Pam will take to the stage at Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre for a one-off concert of her latest book Up in the Attic, along with classic poems and stories from her long career.

Pam is known across the nation for her witty poetry that details everyday life, and has been in the industry for over 40 years.

Cat Newman, Associate Director of Fundraising, said: “We are thrilled and honoured that Pam Ayres has chosen to support Brighter Futures through this particular performance.

“We are sure that this will be a busy show, so want to encourage people to get their tickets soon to avoid disappointment.

“Pam is joyfully funny, touching on topics that relate to everyone and the show is set to be a great evening – with all proceeds going to the Better Births Appeal that we have recently launched.”
