A family fun day is taking place to raise funds to help a Swindon family who lost their 11-year-old son in a sudden asthma attack.
Close friends of Katie Dash, who tragically lost her son Corey (age 11), to a sudden asthma attack in September 2016, have arranged a family fun day to raise awareness of asthma.

Funds raised will pay for a headstone for Corey, to take the burden from Katie and her family and any additional funds raised will go to Asthma UK.

The event will be held at Ferndale Working Men's Club on Saturday 1 July from 1pm onwards.

There will be Face Painting, Children's Tattoos, Bouncy Castle, Cake Stall, Disco, Live Band, Raffle Prizes, Sweet Cones & Hampers.

Family friend Carla Dunn said: "Corey was a lovely little lad, loved by everyone who knew him, so if you can come along to the Fun Day it would mean a lot. "
