Swindon’s Arts Centre is to host a free documentary about the NHS - Under the Knife - as part of a national screening tour.

The film will be screened at the Arts Centre on October 15th at 7.30pm and will include a question and answer session with Labour PPC for South Swindon Sarah Church, Roger Davey, Chairman of Unison’s Wiltshire and Avon Healthcare branch and Samantha Wathen press officer for the Keep our NHS Public campaign group.

The 90-minute investigative documentary puts forward the opinion that the NHS has been dismantled and undermined. Narrated by Alison Steadman, and endorsed by film director Ken Loach, it makes use of interviews and archive footage to put forward its case.
