Police are appealing for information following an assault which occurred in a nightclub in Old Town, Swindon.

At approximately 2.30am on July 28, a 25-year-old man was assaulted in Tree nightclub in Hooper’s Place. He sustained an injury to his face as a result and attended the Great Western Hospital. A 35-year-old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries. Det Con Catherine Price said: “The victim sustained a nasty injury to his face during this assault, and so any witnesses to the incident who have not already spoken to police would really help our investigation.” Anyone with information should call 01 and quote crime reference number 54190073835.
