Swindon's Meca will stage a family Halloween event, Swindon Screams, on Sunday October 29.

If your kids love to get spooky and dress up for Halloween then this is the event for you!  There will be plenty of family-friendly activities for all to enjoy.

The festivities will see appearances by iconic film villains and heroes such as Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Beetle Juice and Hagrid. Children will also get to put on their best scary costume for the Halloween fancy dress competition.

There will also be a children’s disco with Halloween host, zombies, games and an opportunity for visitors to sit in a former electric chair. To add a little magic to the event, you will also get a chance to meet Hagrid lookalike from Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Plus, there will performance from Swindon Dance and Julie Scott’s Academy and lots more!

Tickets cost £20 for a family of four or £6 per person.

There will be two sessions: 12-2pm or 3-5pm. For more information see www.swindontowncentre.co.uk
