Police are appealing for information regarding a high value burglary which took place at a Swindon business centre.
Between 10.50pm on January 8 and 1am on January 9, the Basepoint Business Centre in Rivermead Drive was broken into.
A number of windows were broken to gain entry and several individual businesses inside the premises were then broken into with damage caused to doors and worktops.
The items stolen during the burglary are believed to be worth £20,000. This included a safe and a large amount of jewellery such as:
- 9ct white gold v shaped ring set with diamonds
- Platinum sapphire and diamond ring with x-details
- Platinum cluster ring with oval emerald in centre surrounded by diamonds
Enquiries to identify those responsible are currently ongoing and we would urge anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour or vehicles in the Rivermead Drive area overnight on January 8/9 to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54200002716.
