Arval’s 700-plus UK staff are supporting Road Safety Week, which started today - 16 November.

The support comes through the firm's long standing partnership with Brake, the UK’s national road safety charity.
The mobility solutions specialist has more than 175,000 vehicles in its UK fleet, and has offices in Manchester and Solihull.
Arval says it is passionate about helping to educate all road users on staying safe on the roads.
UK Head of CSR at Arval and BNP Paribas, Tracey Fuller, said: “Brake do incredible work all year round to keep us safe on the roads, with Road Safety Week helping people on a national scale, and we’ve been supporting the charity in a variety of ways for around 15 years.
“This year the week’s focus is all about slowing down, so we’re raising awareness with our more than 700 colleagues in the UK, and across the wider BNP Paribas UK group, helping them consider that small changes can make a big difference and, most importantly, save lives.”
Katie Shephard, spokesperson for Brake, said: “Brake is delighted that Arval are getting involved in Road Safety Week again this year.  We work closely in partnership with Arval throughout the year to raise awareness within fleets about road safety and we’re thrilled they’re getting involved in this project as well.”
For almost a decade the company has also financially supported Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service’s Safe Drive, Stay Alive roadshows, with Arval staff volunteering at events.
Tracey added: “Young people still need educating on the risks they face, especially in the 16–25 age group, and every year the roadshows reach around 14,000 young people across the counties.
"The expert team at Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service have been a joy to work with over the years.
"Despite the pandemic, this ambition will be no different, with the roadshow adapted to be delivered online to students in schools and colleges rather than in person.
"While car journeys and road use have reduced, we all still need reminding of the risks we face when we use the roads and how poor choices can lead to devastating consequences.”
Road Safety Week runs until 22 November and the company encourages people to consider road safety, in particular thinking about their speed.
