Legal & General Homes’ Project Manager, Richard Crawford, has been awarded a ‘Seal of Excellence’ from the National House-Building Council (NHBC).

Announced in a virtual ceremony on Friday 6 November, the accolade is the second stage of the ‘Pride in the Job’ competition, following the ‘Quality Award’ Richard achieved in June this year.

The ‘Seal of Excellence’ is recognition of Richard and his site team’s hard work at Legal & General Homes’ Cross Trees Park development, a collection of 515 traditionally-styled homes in the village of Shrivenham, Oxfordshire.

The NHBC's ‘Pride in the Job’ awards are highly competitive and widely recognised as one of the most prestigious honours in housebuilding. To be awarded any of the Pride in the Job accolades is testimony to the dedication and high standards of the site manager and team.

Richard Crawford, Project Manager at Legal & General Homes, saidWatching the way the Cross Trees Park team has repeatedly risen to the challenges posed by 2020 has been truly inspiring. Despite all the difficulties caused by the pandemic in the past nine months, everyone has kept smiling and working hard to consistently deliver high-quality homes, and I’m very proud to be their construction manager. It is testament to my fantastic team that we have managed to achieve the prestigious Seal of Excellence and continue to produce the best for our brilliant customers.”

Andy Dicker, Regional Managing Director at Legal & General Homes, comments: “Congratulations to Richard and his team at Cross Trees Park for this achievement. It has been a challenging year, but they have not wavered in their determination, resilience and commitment to delivering excellence for our customers. The homes at Cross Trees Park are of a truly high standard and this accolade is a testament to the hard work of Richard and the team, as well as our subcontractor partners, who take pride in the job every day.”
