Specialist personal injury law firm Novum Law has made two of its senior solicitors directors.

Senior Associate Diane Reading, who is based at the firm’s Swindon office, and Salisbury counterpart Hannah Carr take up senior leadership roles at the firm.

Ms Reading is a highly experienced personal injury solicitor who works with clients who have sustained severe injuries, including traumatic brain and spinal injuries and other life-changing injuries in serious accidents.

She has been with Novum Law since its launch, and the firm says her promotion recognises her significant contribution to its development and growth in recent years, working on some of its most high-profile and high-value cases.

Hannah Carr is an experienced personal injury and medical negligence Solicitor. In addition to her work helping people who have been seriously injured in accidents, Hannah has really championed women’s health issues.

In recent years, she has led the way in helping to redress the balance in women’s healthcare inequalities providing a voice for those who do not feel heard.

During her six years with Novum Law, she has supported many women who have suffered avoidable miscarriages or stillbirths, injuries while giving birth or during gynaecological procedures and has played a pivotal role providing expert and compassionate legal support.

Sally Calverley, Chief Executive of Novum Law, said: “I am delighted to announce these well-deserved promotions demonstrating our commitment to investing in talented lawyers and recognising our existing expert teams.

"Diane and Hannah have a great depth of knowledge and experience and work extremely hard on behalf of our injured and vulnerable clients providing expert legal support to get them the justice and help they need.

“We have ambitious growth plans for the future and will continue to develop and bring in the skills and talent we need to help many more people across England and Wales who’ve been seriously harmed through no fault of their own.”

Novum Law has seven offices in locations throughout the South of England and Wales.
