Optimizon, which has bases in Swindon and London, described the move as a strategic one which further solidifies its position as a key player in the evolving landscape of e-commerce consultancy in Europe.

Marketplace Power, a strategic Amazon agency founded and led by ex-Amazonian Daniel Walsh, is dedicated to helping consumer brands understand and build best in class businesses on Amazon.

With a focus on consumables and fashion categories, Marketplace Power offers full-service Amazon account management to brands stretching from start-ups to those with established Amazon businesses.

James Pitts-Drake, Founder and CEO of Optimizon, said: "We are delighted to welcome Marketplace Power into the Optimizon family. This acquisition aligns seamlessly with our vision of becoming Europe's leading data-led e-commerce consultancy.

"With Marketplace Power's ex-Amazon team and emphasis on strategy, we are well-equipped to redefine e-commerce support for our clients across the continent."

Daniel Walsh, owner of Marketplace Power, said: "Joining forces with Optimizon opens up new opportunities for Marketplace Power and our brands.

"We believe that our strategic and analytical approach, combined with Optimizon’s technology, teams and multi-channel offering will add huge value to our partners both on and off Amazon.

"We're excited to fuel the next stages of their growth as part of the Optimizon group."

As part of the integration process, Optimizon will seamlessly incorporate the Marketplace Power team into its existing workforce, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of exceptional customer service for clients.

This integration will also provide clients with access to Optimizon’s data-led service offerings, including consumer insights audits, visual analytics, and access to award-winning preparatory Amazon analytics tools to help them go above and beyond competition on marketplaces.

This acquisition marks another significant milestone in Optimizon's journey towards becoming Europe's leading e-commerce agency, following its acquisitions in 2023 of Marketplace Amp and Nozzle.

With an expanded portfolio of services and a commitment to client success, Optimizon is poised to reshape the e-commerce landscape, offering innovative solutions to brands worldwide.
