Swindon-based estate agents Richard James have been shortlisted for the title of South West Residential Sales and Letting Agency of the Year.

The awards, organised by Business Insider, were created to celebrate the achievements of the residential property sector in the South West.
Shortlisted candidates will attend a celebration dinner at the Mercure Hotel, Exeter, in late January, when the overall winners will be announced.
Richard James are up against Nexa of Bristol, Ocean of Bristol and Girlings Retirement Rentals of Taunton.
Sue Gidney, Lettings MD at Richard James, said the company is delighted that its dedication to provide clients with the best possible service has been recognised.
“At Richard James we know that at the point where people are looking to buy, sell, rent or let residential property, it’s often a decision involving the heart as well as the head,” said Sue.
“So our colleagues do the best they can to support them through the process, and do all they can to make their particular transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible.
“I only wish that we could take every single colleague with us to the awards dinner, as they all have contributed to being shortlisted in their own way, and they are incredibly important to us.
“But I know they will be rooting for us back here in Swindon, and whether we win or not it’s a credit to them to be considered among the very best in the South West.”
