Local residents in the Tadpole Garden Village development in Swindon will soon be able to enjoy access to a Sainsbury’s convenience store, as onsite works begin on Monday. The store, which will be located on Maizey Road within the development will bring great choice, value and convenience to customers.
The new store will open its doors at the end of August and will offer customers great quality food, competitively priced. The store will also provide car parking for customers to make their visit even more convenient.
The store will create 16 new jobs in the local area and will accompany other developments within the Village, including two schools, a park and allotments.
Patrick Dunne, Sainsbury’s Property Director said: “We’re delighted that work is now underway to build our new convenience store in Tadpole Garden Village. The new store will play an active role in the local community and will provide customers with a convenient place to buy all of their essentials.”
Justin Tomlinson MP, Government Minister and Member of Parliament for North Swindon, said:“This award winning development is really taking shape and I have no doubt this brand new store will be a much welcomed new facility for the thriving Tadpole Garden Village community.”
