Skylark Meadow on High Street  has been awarded The Bricks Site Recognition Award by LABC Warranty.  This accolade recognises the high standards of workmanship and overall management of the site, including health and safety matters.

LABC Warranty is one of the largest providers of structural warranties in the UK. Working in partnership with Local Authority Building Control (LABC), its combined team of more than 3,700 surveyors work with house builders, contractors and housing associations.

Sites are scored by LABC Warranty risk management surveyors during their inspection visits, which take place regularly through construction.  Sites which consistently score highly receive a much-coveted Bricks Site Recognition Award.

Ian Hughes, Associate Construction Director at Newland Homes, said: “Receiving a Bricks Site Recognition Award is a significant achievement and recognises the hard work of our site manager Ollie Bird and the whole team at Newland Homes.  Awards like this really are the sum total of everyone’s input, and this high praise and recognition from an independent body provides reassurance of the exceptional build quality of all our homes.”

Sarah Sheppard, Technical Director at LABC Warranty, said: “It takes skill, commitment and a dedication to quality of construction for a site to receive The Bricks Site Recognition Award. Nothing pleases my team and I more than to see developments meet and maintain such high standards.”

Skylark Meadow consists of 37 three, four and five-bedroom homes close to areas of stunning natural beauty. The village has been shortlisted for Wiltshire’s Best Kept Village competition this year, with the winner due to be announced next month.

Newland Homes’ nearby development, Broad Blunsdon Heights, was the winner of ‘best new large housing development’ in the LABC Awards in 2019, which recognises excellence in external appearance and internal planning, layout and landscaping.

Jayne Palmer, Senior Sales Consultant for Newland Homes, said: “Skylark Meadow is a very different design aesthetic to Broad Blunsdon Heights, as we believe that each handpicked location warrants its own palette of materials and finishes.  Skylark Meadow is designed to reflect the character of its surroundings, so you’ll see glorious golden-coloured stone and architecture synonymous with the Cotswolds, plus beautiful brickwork, stone and render detailing.

“Don’t be fooled by the classic design, though; these houses exceed Building Regulation requirements, having significantly enhanced renewable power with solar PV panels to detached homes.  Homes are also wired with provision for an electric car charging point.”

As home-working looks to become a more permanent fixture, Skylark Meadow has pre-installed superfast fibre broadband.

Newland Homes is holding a Four Bedroom Home Open Weekend on 7 and 8 August at Skylark Meadow and Stones Farm.  A brand new, four-bedroom Hampton viewhome will be unveiled at Skylark Meadow, and there will be a £10,000 discount and flooring included on selected plots across the two developments.

Prices currently start at £375,000 for a three-bedroom detached home.  Appointments are available daily from 11am to 5pm at Skylark Meadow.
