Wiltshire Police are appealing for help to find the people responsible for two burglaries which occurred on Friday.

Between 3.15pm and 4.15pm on Friday 3 March, four teenagers were seen to enter the driveway of a home in Church View, Castle Eaton.

A number of items were stolen from inside the home including car keys, a gold chain with a gold cross, a gold chain with a small diamond, a Fossil stainless steel watch and an Alba tablet. They were last spotted at the Red Lion pub.

At approximately 5pm on the same day, a house in Webb Lane, Swindon, was broken into and car keys were stolen from inside.

A Toyota MR2 was also stolen which the suspects later crashed into a wall on John Ruskin Way. They ran across nearby fields in the direction of Redhouse.

Officers attended the scene and carried out an area search but were unable to locate the suspects.

PC Victoria Barker said: “We believe these incidents are linked and would like to hear from anyone who has not yet spoken to police, who may have information about either burglary, or anyone who witnessed the collision.

“We are carrying out extensive enquiries to locate the people responsible.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
