Swindon Down's Syndrome Group has announced its latest fundraising jumble sale.

It will be held on Saturday 24 February at St Barnabas church hall in Cricklade Road, starting at 10:00.
The mission of the group is to ensure people with Down’s Syndrome have the same opportunities as everyone else.

A spokesperson said: "The Swindon Down’s Syndrome Group is a volunteer led charity supporting people with Down’s syndrome and their families in Swindon, Chippenham, Devizes and the surrounding area.
"We are here to support families from the moment a child is born through to old age."

Asked about the jumble sale, the spokesperson said: "Come along and find a bargain, we’ve got lots of jumble ready to sell. We have everything from books, children’s toys, clothes, DVDs, bric-a-brac and not to forget a lovely cup of tea or coffee too!

"All the money we raise on the day goes back to funding all the great projects run by the Swindon Down’s Syndrome Group which supports young people with Down’s syndrome in our area."

People with items to donate, or who would like to volunteer, are invited to get in touch via [email protected] for more details.
