On Thursday, Adam Commons will be running a distance just short of two marathons for Brighter Futures in honour of Colonel Tom Moore.
GWH's Head of Service for DOME, Neurology and Stroke, Adam Commons, is taking on a 100-target challenge of his own to say thank you to Colonel Tom Moore who has raised over £30million for the NHS.
On Thursday, Adam will be running 100 laps of the Great Western Hospital to raise funds for the Brighter Futures COVID-19 Appeal. This is about 45 miles - that's just a few miles short of two marathons!
Throughout the day, Adam will be joined by different staff from across the Trust who will be running a few laps each with him. Everybody taking part in this challenge wants to use the opportunity to thank the public for their generosity and support during this time.
