Volunteers are needed to join Swindon & Wiltshire Pride's 2021 committee.
The roles involve helping to run the charity for the next year along with the big day itself.
Next year's Pride has been given the go-ahead date of August 7 and will be sponsored by Nationwide Building Society.
Swindon & Wiltshire Pride is run completely by volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts to the LGBTQ+ community of Swindon and Wiltshire.
Chair Jo Sharpe said: “Swindon & Wiltshire Pride is a community event which is organised by volunteers from the community.
"As a charity, we pride ourselves on giving back; individually through volunteering and by putting on an amazing event each year!
“By joining the committee you can learn and develop skills, and be part of something special, throughout the year.”
Committee members have specific roles and focus and meet fortnightly in order to align their work and commitments, share opinions and talk about new and exciting ideas which they can bring to the community.
Joining the committee is described as a unique opportunity to develop personally and professionally and to have a big impact on the people of Swindon and Wiltshire.
Previous committee members have commented on the family aspect of being on the committee, and they have enjoyed not just putting on the main Pride event itself, but also the community outreach work which is done throughout the year.
Swindon & Wiltshire Pride is committed to equal opportunity, as well as encouraging people from marginalised and minority backgrounds to apply so that they can ensure better representation of all groups of people.
The deadline for applications is 7 September and further information can be found at www.swindonwiltshirepride.co.uk/2020committee
