Sir Robert Buckland has named the British Heart Foundation as his latest Charity of the Week.
The South Swindon MP described the organisation as "...a brilliant registered charity here in the UK who fund around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart disease, strokes, vascular dementia, diabetes, they are all connected."
He added: "The charity’s vision is a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. British Heart Foundation raise money to research cures and treatments, so they can give people more time with the ones they love.
"British Heart Foundation have recently launched RevirR – free 15-minute mobile training available to everyone, which show you how to do CPR to save someone’s life. I am calling on everyone to take just 15 minutes to do this free training. All you need to practice is a cushion."
People can start their training via https://revivr.bhf.org.uk/ and find our more about the charity at www.bhf.org.uk.
