Members of the Swindon Croquet Club and Swindon Town Football Club's Extra Time Club came together to enjoy a day of sports in aid of charity.
Around 30 members of the two clubs were said to have had an enjoyable and successful time at the Club's Charity Day last Thursday.
Over £200 was raised to go towards the acquisition of a defibrillator for the Club.
Chair of Swindon Croquet Club, Clive Smith said: "I want to thank the players for their amazing generosity in what was a fabulous, fun competition."
The highest scoring individual of the day was Ann Whitbread. She won a bottle of wine, whilst other lucky winner, Linda Hunt, collected the 'wooden spoon' prize of chocolates.
Those who would like to try the sport can attend free taster sessions (with friendly tuition and equipment provided) at SCC’s Moredon lawns.
Individuals can email [email protected] for more information.
