Wiltshire Wildlife Trust continues to welcome volunteers for its Wellbeing Group.

The group ensures Swindon's wildlife and natural environment is better off, as well as forming part of WWT’s wellbeing programme.
The programme uses nature-based activities to help people living with mental health issues.
Volunteers meet every fortnight to socialise and take part in conservation work such as tree and wildflower planting.

Since April of this year, more than 190 volunteers have given up their time to help improve Swindon’s wildlife across sites that form part of the Swindon Forest Meadows project – a partnership between WWT and the Council.

Running since 2020, the project aims to create, restore, enhance and better manage grassland sites across 12 sites including Mouldon Hill, Shaftesbury Lakes, Raybrook Meadow, The Prinnels, Foundation Park and Penhill Haven.
