Ruth and Peter Doyle from Lyneham are celebrating a £1m win after matching the unique EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code in the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 23 June, 2015.

Ruth, 51, and Peter, 60, celebrated their wedding anniversary by collecting the National Lottery cheque at the Wiltshire Hotel, Golf and Leisure Resort, near Royal Wootton Bassett, where they married eight years ago.

Ruth, who plays EuroMillions online via a National Lottery Direct Debit, initially thought she had won just £25 and didn’t check the full EuroMillions results to find out she was in fact a millionaire.
Luckily, as her direct debit details are held by the national lottery operators, Camelot was able to contact the unsuspecting millionaire to inform her that she had in fact won a great deal more than she first thought.
Ruth, a Senior Programme Manager for Johnson Controls in Europe, said: “We've kept the news to ourselves until now and our good fortune has just about sunk in. I think when everyone knows we’ll have a little celebration."
