Covid-19 virus: further 159 people in UK die

A further 159 people died in England from the Covid-19 virus in the last 24-hours, taking the total to 1,284.

A further six people have died in Scotland, taking the total to 47 with 1,563 people having tested positive for the virus.

In Wales, the number of people who have died after contracting coronavirus is 62, a rise of 14, health officials said.
