JAMES WILTON DANCE presents ' LEVIATHAN' Tuesday 11th October at 7.30pm Wyvern Theatre, Swindon LEVIATHAN features a cast of seven world class dancers and James Wilton's trademark blend of athletic dance, powerful movement, martial arts, capoeira and edge of the seat partner-work combined with his signature electro-rock soundtrack. LEVIATHAN is inspired by Herman Melvilles seminal novel ' Moby Dick' and follows Ahab, a ships captain hell-bent on capturing the white whale, a beast as vast and as dangerous as the sea itself, yet serene and beautiful beyond all imagination. James Wilton graduated from London Contemporary Dance School and since then has created works for Scottish Dance Theatre, Verve, Edge, Opera Graz and Ballett Hagen. In 2013 he was commissioned to choreograph a work for 50 professional dancers for performances at the Opening and Semi-Final of the Rugby League World Cup.
