Sean Drayton, 46, from Penhill Drive, Penhill, appeared at Swindon Crown Court today and admitted four counts of supplying Class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine) and three counts of possession with intent to supply heroin, crack and cocaine - valued up to £6,000 in total.

Connor Cahill, 21, of no fixed address, also appeared at the same court today and admitted two counts of supplying heroin and crack cocaine and three counts of possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

Both were arrested in Swindon during Wiltshire Police's County Lines intensification week; approximately 50 Wiltshire officers were involved in a series of drugs warrants carried out between 7 - 11 October 2019 under the name Operation Jetway.

Drayton was sentenced to four years and four months in prison; Cahill was sentenced to two years and seven months in prison.

Detective Inspector Paul Franklin, who was in charge of Op Jetway, said: "These are just two of a number of court appearances in relation to the 63 people we arrested during our intensification week.

"We have been working closely with our partners in the Crown Prosecution Service and fully expect to have many more cases brought through the courts as the results of Op Jetway come to fruition.

"The number arrested not only shows the amount of drug gang activity going on in the county but also the concerted effort being made by Wiltshire Police to close these lines down.

"Today's outcomes are good news - it means another two drug dealers have been caught and dealt with by the judicial system and it sends a strong message to the organised gangs who control County Lines that you are not welcome in Swindon or Wiltshire; we will find you and you will be prosecuted."
