Swindon's McArthurGlen Designer Outlet is stocking up in preparation for the Christmas Eve ‘Man Dash’, as male shoppers squeeze in their last-minute festive shop.
Last year Christmas Eve sales at the centre surged 17.5%, compared with 2014.
Retaillers are expecting a sales surge this Christmas Eve to be dominated by purchases of gifts including fragrance, lingerie, beauty and jewellery from premium brands such as Reiss, Ernest Jones and Kurt Geiger.
Tina Cumpstey, Centre Manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon, is making sure their designer brand partners are well-prepared with enough stock on hand to help fill Christmas stockings in time for Christmas Day.
Tina said: “Christmas Eve is a major day on the retail calendar for our centre. We traditionally see a marked increase in sales because of last-minute gift buying.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors as they enjoy the last shopping day before Christmas. Our centre offers an extensive range of gifts and with over 100 high street and premium brands there’s something to suit everyone.”
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon expects further waves of sales uplift post-Christmas and into the New Year as the centre welcomes customers throughout the festive and sales season.
