Did you witness altercation between cyclist and driver?

Officers from Swindon CID are investigating an incident which took place in Liden, Swindon.

Between approximately 9.10pm and 9.30pm on Sunday 2 February an altercation took place between two men in Grundys, near to the Liden shops. The altercation is believed to have occurred between the driver of a car and a cyclist. 

During the altercation, a man in his 60s received injuries to his pelvis and ribs which required medical attention which he is still receiving treatment for. 

Det Sgt Scott Anger said: “We understand that there were several witnesses to the incident and we would urge them to come forward. We would also appeal for the cyclist involved in the incident to come forward and contact Swindon CID. We are keen to progress the investigation as quickly as possible.

“One of the men involved in this altercation has sustained a fractured pelvis which required hospital treatment and he is now unable to walk whilst this injury heals."
