There was extra excitement when St Francis Primary School in Taw Hill celebrated a year's partnership with Christian charity MAF.
The children at the school were very excited as a Cessna plane visited the playground with the team from MAF, and they were able to climb inside and learn about the life of an MAF pilot.
Children completed rescue challenges and prayer space activities as well as 'guess the cargo' and paper plane challenges.
In a special assembly, pupils presented MAF school's worker Manda Wilson with a cheque for £1518.50 which represented half the money raised in its 'courageous advocacy' projects in terms five and six.
Sponsored events ranged from a year 6 fair to a reception class wheels day.
The school also raised a further £1,518 for its partner school in Uganda.
