The Park Academies Trust in Swindon has been shortlisted for an award in the Wellbeing Trust of the Year category at this year’s Multi Academy Trust Excellence Awards.
The awards give Trusts across the UK the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of their schools, pupils and staff and the positive impact they have on their local community.
The Awards ceremony is due to be held in London on 29 June.
Benedick Ashmore-Short, CEO, The Park Academies Trust said: "We’re honoured to be shortlisted in this year’s Multi Academy Excellence Awards. At the Trust we strongly believe that the wellbeing of our pupils and staff is the foundation of a brilliant education. I’m so pleased that the award will raise awareness of the importance of wellbeing in schools and the work we do to help our students to feel supported and valued.”
David Williams, Director of Inclusion, The Park Academies Trust said: "I’m delighted that the work we do to develop wellbeing in our schools is being recognised with our place on the MAT Excellence awards shortlist. At the Trust we promote the idea of the ‘whole child’ to encourage our pupils to develop into productive and happy individuals. It’s such an important part of education and vital in supporting all the academic study and exams.”
