Eleven people in court in relation to drug offences in Swindon

Eleven people appeared in court today in relation to drug offences in Swindon.

Ten of those who appeared were arrested during Operation Samphire - a week of action held in Swindon in January to tackle county lines drugs gangs. 

One of the 11 was arrested during Operation Jetway – another week of action which was held back in October last year.  

- Brandon Rouse-McCue, 23, of Lyndhurst Crescent, Park North, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and two counts of supplying class A drugs.

- Kyle Ricketts, 20, of Jenni Manners Court, Westlea, pleaded guilty to supply of class A drugs.

They are both due in Swindon Crown Court on April 17.

- Blair Egerton, 32, of Manor Crescent, Moredon, pleaded guilty to two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. He is next due to appear for sentencing at Swindon Crown Court on March 26. He will also be sentenced for four counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, for which he was arrested for during Operation Jetway. 

- Kyle Menham, 21, of Thornbridge Avenue, Swindon, pleaded not guilty to nine counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

- Sarah Scott, 34, of Ramsbury Avenue, Penhill, also pleaded not guilty to nine counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Both Scott and Menham have been committed to Swindon Crown Court on April 17 for a pre-trial and preparation hearing. 

The following gave no indication of plea and have also been committed to Swindon Crown Court for pre-trial and preparation hearings on April 17:

- Kenneth Cox, 44, of Penhill, charged with three counts of supplying class A drugs

- Omar Ibrahim, 22, of Leytonstone, Waltham Forest, London charged with five counts of supplying class A drugs

- Katie Donnelly, 37, of no fixed address, Swindon, charged with two counts of class A drug supply

- Anthony Walsh, 41, of HMP Bullingdon, charged with two counts of class A drug supply

- Craig Murray, 41, of no fixed address, Swindon, charged with four counts of supplying class A drugs failed to appear in court 

- The hearing for Jamie Scanlon, 38, of Tibshelf, Derbyshire, charged with two counts of class A drug supply and one count of being concerned in the supply was adjourned until April 1.
