GALLERY: CCTV images released after high value burglary

Wiltshire Police are appealing for information to identify two individuals after a high value burglary in Swindon.

The incident happened between 12.30pm on Monday 4 September and 8am on Tuesday 5 September on Oxford Road, Swindon.

A number of high value items with huge sentimental value were stolen from inside the property including:

  • A gold eternity ring with diamonds inset around it
  • A gold ring with platinum cross and approximately three diamonds
  • A Blue enamel locket
  • Heart shaped brooch with seed pearls around the edge
  • Ladies silver ring with tiger stone

PC Andy Parsons said: “Items stolen during this burglary include money, bank cards, and a number of sentimental items including an eternity ring and cygnet ring.

"These items have huge sentimental value to the owner and we would really like to be able to return them to the owner.

“A credit card that was stolen was used in a number of shops in Swindon on Tuesday 5 September. We have attached CCTV images and appeal for your help in identifying them.

"Do you recognise the two individuals involved? Did you see or hear anybody acting suspicious? Can you provide us with information on who could be responsible?

“This has been very distressing for the victims, and we urge anyone with information to call us on 101”.
