Almost 100 cyclists gathered in Wood Street at the start line of the first ever Hydra Cycle Ride - organised as a fundraiser for the Friends of Lethbridge Primary School.
The event, on Sunday, saw participants taking on either a 34, 44 or 57 mile ride through the picturesque Wiltshire countryside - via Lambourn and the White Horse at Uffington.
To fuel riders before they set off, staff at The Bank restaurant offered those taking part a free cup of coffee and pastry. And staff from VeloWorks were on hand to provide a mobile mechanic service to keep cyclists rolling.
The event was sponsored by Run Swindon, Swindon Cycles, Richard James Estate Agents, Velo Works, Cats Solutions, Francis George solicitors, Swindon Financial Services, Domino’s and Anytime Fitness.
