Santa delighted children and families last weekend at Swindon's Orbital for a free Christmas Bus event.

On the lower deck children were able to try out their art and craft skills in Santa's workshop with postcard making.

After the craft workshop, families were then invited to the top deck to meet the man himself in Santa's grotto for photos.

Introducing the event Jamie Turner, centre manager at Orbital, said: “This year Santa has swapped his sleigh for some wheels, and we can’t wait to see the look on our shoppers’ faces when they see our big red bus parked up.

“Christmas is all about spending time with the your nearest and dearest, so we’re pleased to be offering all the family the chance to enjoy a range of free, creative festive activities.”

Families were also be able to enjoy a range of seasonal treats from the food stalls including Wanna Pull – pulled pork, turkey and beef sandwiches, and Complete Waffle.
