Hundreds of invited business leaders, and representatives of various organisations throughout Swindon gathered at the recently revamped carriageworks to help launch the next phase of Switch On to Swindon. Guests were treated to an inspirational video, put together by Create studios, outlining the key objectives of the campaign. And representatives from Place Marketing outlined the priorities of Switch On to Swindon.
The campaign is designed to underline the strengths of the town as a great place in which to live, work, invest and visit. Celebrating the area’s hidden gems, symbols of change and keynote developments, the campaign plays an important role in enhancing Swindon’s reputation. Switch On to Swindon was launched to great fanfare in January last year with a glittering event, at the Audi showroom in the Delta business park, attended by more than 400 invited representatives from the business community and local organisations.
