Taxi drivers from V Cars carried out a protest today outside the company’s offices at Groundwell to show their dissatisfaction at how they are being treated.
This comes after software issues caused chaos for drivers after the introduction of a new app called icabbi. Since its introduction the app has allegedly caused issues for customers and drivers alike with the meter not correctly pricing up fares.
Over the past couple of weeks the company which owns V Cars - Veezu - has come under pressure and has vowed to tackle the problem head on.
V Cars was last year taken over by the group owned by Veezu, a company which established itself in 2013.
It is alleged that several drivers have left the firm, and that others fear for their jobs.
