Friends of Lethbridge Primary School and the 10K Fun Run Committee are joining forces to host their annual Summer Fete and Craft Market to raise vital funds for the school. The Summer Fete hosts over 25 stalls, featuring an extensive range of arts, crafts and foods and provides the perfect place to find a variety of unique and wonderful gifts. There will be refreshments on offer throughout the day. The Summer Fete is an excellent opportunity for the local community to support its local school. The fete will be held on Saturday 23rdJune from 11am until 2.30pm with the Fun Run starting at 11am. Entry to the Summer Fete is completely free. One of the organisers, Becky Jackson, said: I'm honoured to be able to work with some amazing people who volunteer to help run the Summer Fete. This is my forth year as fete co-ordinator and it remains a great feeling being able to bring the whole community together and to give the children a fun and exciting day. At the same time, we are also able to raise much needed funds for the children who attend this wonderful school. "This year will see some new stalls, as well as an appearance from the ambulance and fire services. We are always in need of more parents/carers to get involved so if you would like to help us please do get in touch. It's a great way to have fun, make new friends and raise money for our school.” Anyone interested in having their own stall should contact Becky Jackson on [email protected] Registration forms for the Fun Run are available from [email protected]
