Oxford Brookes University's Swindon Campus is giving those interested in studying healthcare the opportunity to find out more at two events next month.

There is a Taster Day on 20 June from 9.30am-3pm open to Year 12 or first year level 3 BTEC students, who are thinking about starting a healthcare course at university in September 2019.

The day will offer them insights into university level courses, what universities are looking for when they apply, what an interview is like and provide an opportunity to look round the campus' clinical simulation suite complete with manikins and training equipment.

Places are limited, those interested should register their interest by 10 June by completing the online form at bit.ly/BrookesTaster2018 with some brief information about themselves and why they'd like to attend the day.

On Saturday 23 June from 9.30am-2.30pm the campus will also be holding an Open Day
Prospective students can take a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities, speak to staff and students about studying here, meet placement partners and find out what it’s like to be on placement as a student and get useful insight into what makes a great application.

There are spaces available for September 2018 entry on BSc Adult Nursing, MSc Adult Nursing (suitable for those who already have a degree), and BSc Operating Department Practice degree courses.
